Typical French doors are glazed doors normally in pairs, with single paned pieces of glass. although for speed and cost glazing bars are more commonly used. An attractive traditional door design bringing in lots light to a room, these can be used internally or externally, although the wood used should be treated and double glazed for external use.

Where a room is separated French doors can be used with fixed paned additions to the sides for larger rooms, they are great at keeping noise contained, allowing for some privacy while allowing to
keep the light in both parts of the room and the open plan feel.

Hardwood is used for French doors in our joinery workshop, offering the best in traditional and modern to provide the highest quality product.
