Double glazed units
We are committed to providing suitable solutions for window energy rated units for either commercial or domestic applications.
Our units are manufactured according to our client specifications and meet with the current WER’s (Window Energy Rated Scheme)
Our standard units are high performance soft coat Lowe and Pilkington K, argon gas, this achieves a U value rating of 1.1
Our double glazed units are always toughened where required for safety purposes and to comply with current building regulations.
Toughened glass ranges from 4mm to 12mm All conforms to BS EN 12150.
Acoustic double glazed units
This option is becoming ever more popular with the increased noise within our communities our standard acoustic units are Pilkington Optifloat clear,
Annealed 6mm, 16mm Argon gas (90%) and Pilkington Optiphon, Laminated 10.8mm, this will achieve a decibel rating of 42db
Laminated glass
The request for toughened laminated glass has increased in recent years to due to the higher demand for safety and security.
The product negates the threat of injury as two pieces of toughened glass are bonded together to form a laminated sheet of glass.
We always use this product when manufacturing balustrades, glass canopies and conservatories.
Obscured Frosted and Textured Glass
Obscured or frosted also known as textured glass allows the maximum light into a space but gives you the added benefit of privacy or to block out
unsightly views.
There is a wide range of designs to choose from and are available toughened or laminated for safety and security.
Many of our customers choose satin glass for obscurity as this is very plain with no self pattern through the glass, it would suit a more contemporary type of application.
